Martin Schwalb grew up in a musical environment and discovered his passion for violin making at an early age.

After completing his studies at the Staatliche Musikinstrumentenbauschule Mittenwald (School for Instrument Making Mittenwald) and working in renowned workshops, he founded his own workshop in Vienna in 2006. His focus is on the creation of new instruments, inspired by the classical Italian school and his experience in restoration and sound work.
