Inspired by tradition, created for the future: My viola

In 1999, I restored a viola whose sound immediately fascinated me, but the small body scale limited its potential. Inspired by this Storioni viola and larger models, I designed my own instrument with a body bore of 41.5 cm.

The result: a viola with a powerful, open C-string, warm mid-range and a sustainable, soloistic A-string. An instrument that combines fullness of sound, playability and expression - perfect for musicians who don't like playing large viol
