Love at first sight
I made this violin for the first time at the request of a violinist who was allowed to try out the instrument at the Chimei Foundation in Taiwan and has dreamed of this violin and its sound ever since. This extraordinary instrument fascinates and inspires me to this day, and over the years I have developed a very personal interpretation of it, whose powerful sound is characterised by silvery, shimmering, dense high notes with dark colours and beautiful warmth in the lower strings.
