In the world of violin making, tradition, craftsmanship and creativity merge into a unique symbiosis. Creating a new instrument is the birth of an unmistakable sound that touches hearts and tells stories.
Every instrument that is created in my workshop bears my signature - from the selection of the finest seasoned tonewoods, the varnish from my own production to the final fine-tuning of the sound. I love breaking new ground, experimenting with shapes, woods and varnishes to create individual worlds of sound.

Here in the heart of Neubau, the 7th district of Vienna, with a view over the rooftops of the city, I dedicate myself to this passion.
Each instrument is carefully crafted by hand to create sounds that touch the soul and are unmistakable in their character. Close collaboration with musicians is particularly important to me. Together we adjust the sound until the instrument, playing style and characteristics are perfectly harmonised.
This is how the tradition of violin making is kept alive in my workshop - a place where worlds of sound are created that find their place in concert halls all over the world.
